The ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) is pleased to present its 2021 Annual Report which covers the activities of the Centre from 1 January to 31 December 2021.

2021 marked the first full year of activity for the Centre, culminating in the official launch at RMIT University in December. The 2021 Annual Report tells the story of what has been achieved: the recruitment of new students, researchers and staff, commencement of research projects, progressing relationships with key partners, establishing administrative and governance arrangements, and creating physical hubs for our Centre across our various institutional locations.

“In this the second year of ADM+S, but the first full year of research collaboration, I must acknowledge the incredibly ambitious tapestry of global research projects Professors Julian Thomas as Centre Director and Jean Burgess as Associate Director, backed up by a posse of lead investigators and Chief Operating Officer Nick Walsh and his team, have stitched together,” said Deena Shiff, Chair of the ADM+S International Advisory Board.
