Dr Jathan Sadowski is an Associate Investigator at the Monash University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S).

Jathan studies the political economy and social theory of information technology. His current major research project—funded by a DECRA fellowship from the Australian Research Council—is focused on analysing the market for insurance technology, the regime of actuarial governance, and the impacts of this risk business on our lives and for our future.
