JEFFREY CHAN
Assoc Prof Jeffrey Chan is an Associate Investigator at the RMIT University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S).
Jeffrey is a senior lecturer at RMIT University. His research interests lie in machine learning, recommendation, FAccT (Fairness, Accountability, Transparency), social network analysis, data driven optimisation and decision-making and interdisciplinary research that combines these fields to solve novel applications.
He publishes regularly in the top conferences and journals in these areas, including winning a best paper award at the ACM International Conference on Web Science 2011.
Jeffrey has worked with industry and the non-profit sector in data and machine learning driven, optimisation and decision-making applications including retail and marketing, sustainability, social media, energy and manufacturing.
