JOE BRAILSFORD
Joe Brailsford is an Affiliate of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S) from the University of Melbourne.
Joe is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne working out of the Human-Computer Interaction lab. He comes from a design background with experience ranging from product interaction through to service design.
Now focussing his research on the causal factors of responsibility attribution in automated systems, Joe is interested in how empirical knowledge of these factors can help shape the design of responsible product policy guidelines.
Joe has been a commercial helicopter pilot and a ski instructor in a past life, has a love for oversized sound systems and am overly fastidious about how to make the perfect cup of coffee!
