Thesis Title
Enhancing Explanatory Fact-Checking with Large Language Models: An Explorative Study

Research Description
This project captures the current and future applications of large language models (LLMs) for fact-checking organisations. It proposes the use of semi-structured interviews with international fact-checkers from organisations that have incorporated interfacing with LLMs as part of their practices. This research expands an emerging area of research looking at the practical application of natural language generators for knowledge workers in journalism, fact-checking, and other fields.
