Peter Mercieca is an International Advisory Board Member for the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S).
Peter is currently a Partner at Cypher Advisory, a boutique strategy firm. For the previous 28 years, Peter was a Partner with the global advisory firm of KPMG, serving some of the world’s largest companies across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Peter has held senior leadership roles and led industry-focused advisory businesses, including serving as the Global Chair of KPMG’s Media and Telecommunications business and, most recently, as a leader of KPMG’s US Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector Consulting business.
Until recently, Peter was based in San Francisco, working with two of the world’s largest technology companies. Peter has also provided advisory services to Virgin Media, Vodafone, Telstra, Saudi Telecom, and many other organisations in the global TMT sector.
Peter’s focus is on working with boards and senior executives to navigate changing commercial and social environments to achieve transformative results.
