Prof Flora Salim appointed to ARC College of Experts

ADM+S Associate Investigator Prof Flora Salim has been appointed to the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts.

The ARC College of Experts play a key role in identifying research excellence to support the advancement of knowledge and contribute to national innovation,

Its members are experts of international standing drawn from the Australian research community: from higher education, industry and public sector research organisations.

Flora Salim is a Professor at the School of Computing Technologies at RMIT University, and Deputy Director of RMIT’s Centre for Information Discovery and Data Analytics. Her research interests include context and behaviour modelling, time-series and spatio-temporal data mining, and pattern recognition and machine learning.

Her work has been recognised with multiple fellowships and awards, including the RMIT Award for Research Impact – Technology 2018 and a fellowship with Australian Research Council (ARC) Postdoctoral Research Industry (APDI) in 2012-2015.
