ADM+S Statement of support for the Voice to Parliament

Author  ADM+S Centre
Date 2 October 2023

The ADM+S Centre affirms its support for a First Nations Voice to Parliament to be included in Australia’s Constitution. We recognise the contributions that First Nations people, organisations and communities make to our Centre and to Australian society. We value First Nations communities and their leadership in shaping our research, training, and translation work. Supporting the Voice aligns closely with the ADM+S Centre’s mission to create the knowledge and strategies necessary for responsible, ethical, and inclusive automated decision-making for all Australians.

We acknowledge the diversity of views about Constitutional recognition and the Voice proposal. We encourage all those who work with us to make an informed choice in the coming Referendum.
