Dr Yee Man Louie
Dr Yee Man Louie is a Research Fellow at the RMIT University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S). Her research examines how automated decision-making and digital technologies shape experiences of inequality, with a particular focus on gendered and racialised communities.
Drawing on decades of domestic violence advocacy alongside a background in applied social research and youth affairs, her work is grounded in rigorous, human-centred inquiry. She completed her PhD in Media and Communication at RMIT University, where she investigated how technology intersects with domestic violence, particularly for Chinese migrant women in Australia.
Yee Man has played an active role in major national projects, including the Australian Digital Inclusion Index and the First Nations Digital Inclusion initiatives. Through this work, she seeks to advance more equitable and inclusive digital futures for marginalised communities through critical, community-engaged and policy-relevant scholarship.
