Prof Alan McKee is an Affiliate of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S) from the University of Sydney.
Alan McKee was named by the Australian newspaper as the country’s leading sex and sexuality researcher for 2026. He is an expert on digital intimacies.
His most recent book reporting on sexually explicit material and its audiences is called What Do We Know About the Effects of Pornography After Fifty Years of Academic Research? (Routledge, 2022). He has published on digital entertainment and healthy sexuality in journals including the New Media and Society, Archives of Sexual Behavior, the International Journal of Sexual Health, the Journal of Sex Research and Sex Education.
