The ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society is proud to announce the launch of its new publications library/collection, a new digital resource designed to make the Centre’s research in automated decision-making and AI more accessible.
The ADM+S Publications Library/Collection features a user-friendly interface with advanced search capabilities, making it easier for researchers, policymakers, and the public to access and interact with the Centre’s vast body of knowledge.
Developed by Dr Jake Goldenfein, Chief Investigator at ADM+S at the University of Melbourne, and Dr Amanda Lawrence, an Affiliate of ADM+S from RMIT University, the publications collection reflects the Centre’s commitment to making its work more accessible and impactful.
Dr Lawrence, an expert in library and information management, emphasises the collections role in fostering greater engagement with research.
“I’m thrilled to see the launch of the new ADM+S publications library, which not only demonstrates the amazing quality and diversity of research occurring at the Centre, but also our commitment to research access and impact.
“Many of our publications are open access and we have worked hard to adapt the Centre’s Zotero library into an easy to use collection available directly from our website. Now anyone can browse and search the latest cutting-edge research on automated decision-making and society in one place,” said Dr Lawrence.
The Library provides a searchable library of the Centre’s extensive work, including research articles, reports, government submissions, and books.
By enhancing transparency and accessibility, it aims to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application, underscoring the Centre’s dedication to advancing the field through innovation and collaboration.
The ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society is committed to addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by automated decision-making technologies. The Publications Library stands as a testament to this commitment, offering a crucial resource for those seeking to understand and engage with this evolving field.
