ADM+S Launches Working Paper Series

Author Loren Dela Cruz
Date 5 May 2022

Earlier this week, the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) launched its Working Paper Series which publishes new research by ADM+S researchers and collaborators in an open access format.

The first paper ‘Australian search experience project: background paper‘ is a project report by ADM+S Chief Investigator Professor Axel Bruns which discusses the motivations and context behind the Australian Search Experience —a citizen science project that aims to assess the extent to which search results are personalised for different users.

ADM+S Centre Director, Distinguished Professor Julian Thomas, said ‘The ADM+S Working Paper Series is an exciting step forward for the Centre. The series will enable us to communicate our key research work publicly, in detail, in a timely fashion, in a convenient digital format, and in a way which is open to everyone.

The Analysis & Policy Observatory (APO) is one of Australia’s leading open access research repositories. We share APO’s goal of supporting evidence-based policy and public debate on the critical challenges facing Australia, and we’re delighted to be working with APO to make ADM+S research more findable, more useable, and more accessible.’

ADM+S working papers will be made available on the Centre’s Automated Decision-Making + Society collection on the APO platform.
