Anand’s research thesis looks at the flow of discourse across social media platforms in the Indian context. His research focuses on aspects of disinformation, polarisation and populism across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Anand’s background is in political science and other research interest includes political theory, media and cultural studies, and feminist theory.
