How AI could influence Media practices in Global South: A comparative analysis of Pakistan and Australia

Research Description
The researcher intends to investigate the ethical issues and implications of ChatGPT use in journalism, specifically in Pakistan. The study intends to  evaluate ChatGPT’s usage, the ethical problems it offers, comparative analysis of ChatGPT effects on Journalism in Pakistan and Australia, and the role of regulatory bodies in addressing these concerns, given its novelty and the paucity of current literature on its application in journalism. In the context of Pakistan, the research will also concentrate on creating regulations to lessen unethical ChatGPT-related media activities. The methodology will be Focus groups and In-depth Interviews.
