ISAAC LYNE

Dr Isaac Lyne is an Affiliate of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S) from the University of Sydney.

Isaac Lyne is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Architecture, Design and Planning. He is working on a 5-year project on mobile finance and smallholder farming, commissioned by the Australia Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

Isaac was previously a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) at Western Sydney University, where he conducted research on water service enterprise in rural Cambodia funded by the SeedBox International Environmental Humanities collaboratory.

Isaac completed his PhD at ICS in 2017, with a thesis titled “Social Enterprise and Community Development: Theory into Practice in Two Cambodian Villages,” which entailed action research that mobilised practitioner approaches, including Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD).
