Dr Matteo Vergani is an Affiliate of the the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S) from Deakin Univeristy.
Dr Matteo Vergani is a partner and research lead at Deakin University, and contributes to the research engagement and training program.
Assoc Prof Matteo Vergani directs the Tackling Hate Lab, leading research on the use of AI to tackle hate crime and violent extremism. His work combines social science, social psychology, and data science. He partners with governments and NGOs globally and is Associate Editor of Terrorism and Political Violence, a top journal in the field.
