Dr Mike Wang is an Affiliate of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S) from the University of Melbourne.
Dr Wang’s research develops machine learning and data mining techniques for detecting and mitigating abnormal, malicious, and forged behaviours in open-world environments, with a broader focus on the security and safety of foundation models.
His interests span large-scale anomaly detection, AI-generated content and forgery detection and mitigation, and faithfulness in generative models, across various data modalities and applications.
