Susan Sheldrick
Susan Sheldrick is a Research Fellow at the Swinburne University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S).
Working with the Critical Capabilities for Inclusive AI team, her work focuses on community approaches to AI literacy and contributes to the development of the Critical AI Capabilities Index.
Susan recently completed her PhD with the Centre for AI and Digital Ethics at the University of Melbourne, where she investigated the impact of AI on rural SMEs and their communities. Her research interests centre on technological systems and their capacity to either empower or marginalise vulnerable populations, with a particular focus on amplifying voices that often go unheard.
