THERESIA RAMPISELA

Theresia Veronika Rampisela is a Visiting Scholar at the RMIT University node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society (ADM+S) from the University of Copenhagen.

Theresia is a PhD student at the Information Retrieval (IR) Lab, Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen. Her PhD research focuses on evaluating fairness in machine learning applications, such as recommender systems and search systems, as part of the Algorithms, Data, and Democracy (ADD) project.

Prior to her PhD studies, Theresia conducted research on developing expert finding techniques with information retrieval and knowledge management approaches. Her broader research interests include IR evaluation, trustworthy machine learning, and natural language processing.

Theresia is currently visiting ADM+S at RMIT to collaborate with Prof. Falk Scholer on a project related to the evaluation of fairness in IR applications.
