This hybrid seminar examines how technology is changing the way migrants find information, make decisions, and access support in Australia, with Indonesian Working Holiday Makers as a focal case. It considers the opportunities, challenges, and gaps that emerge as migration becomes increasingly mediated through digital environments. The afternoon in-person workshop turns these conversations into a collaborative exercise, mapping migrants’ information journeys and exploring how we might build more accessible, inclusive, and trustworthy digital migration ecosystems.
