Nick Srnicek is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Economy at King’s College London. His latest book, Silicon Empires: The Fight for the Future of AI (Polity, 2025) examines the geopolitical economy of artificial intelligence. Dr. Srnicek’s prior book, Platform Capitalism (Polity, 2016) was translated into 15 languages. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, is on the Board of Advisors for the Autonomy Institute, served as an editor of Millennium: Journal of International Studies, and on the editorial advisory board for the SAGE Handbook on Digital Labour.
